Hurt That Ball™ didn’t begin as an idea for a shirt company. It began with the love of watching my son Justin play baseball.
I’ve watched Justin play since he was seven years old. Whenever he stepped up to the plate, I would tell him:
HURT THAT BALL™.
It started as something a father yelled to encourage his son. Over time, it became more than that. It represented confidence, competing without fear, and stepping into the box ready to do damage.
Put In The Work has its own story with Justin, too. I’ve always told him that if he wants to get better—if he wants to be great—he has to put in the work.
Those words became part of how we approached baseball, training, and life.
HTB wasn’t created just to sell shirts. It evolved naturally from years spent at baseball fields, watching my son grow, compete, struggle, improve, and continue putting in the work.
Today, Hurt That Ball represents every young athlete who loves the game, works to improve, and steps onto the field ready to play with confidence.
